Catch up with a friend.
Called in after work for tea and a catch up with a friend. Service was friendly and it was explained there would be a short delay with food as they were very busy and food was cooked fresh. This was not a problem and the food was well worth the wait(which wasn’t long)! I had cheese & onion pie and my friend had steak and ale pie, made fresh and cooked to perfection, served with fresh veg and home cooked chips. It was delicious! Will definitely be going back.

Way better than expected!
Very friendly and polite staff, there was a wait for food but they kept me updated, and were apologetic even though it wasn't required. Besides that they were chatty in the right way, even though it was busy. The food was absolutely superb. I got the 8oz Steak Burger and I honestly cannot remember the last time I had a better burger (and I work in Leeds where there are plenty of very good places to eat). Will be making a point to come back here again the next time I'm back for the weekend.

Very welcoming and comfortable
A tremendously warm welcome from lovely staff made us feel instantly at home. Nothing was too much trouble and everything very clean. Breakfasts were good and particularly enjoyed the delicious cheese and onion pie in the evening. A very convenient location made it easy to get around and we certainly plan to return at the first opportunity.

Excellent all round.
Visited today for Sunday Lunch. It was our 4th visit here and worth the 1 hour drive as the food is in a different league to similar establishments near me. I would go as far as to say the quality of the food rivals the Barn at Moor Hall which has a Michelin Star. The Bill was £150 for 3 courses for 3 people including drinks which for the standard is very acceptable. Service was very good and the majority of the staff are very young so well done to them and very well done to the kitchen.

Nipped in for dinner.
Had a nice pint of Guinness and the other half had a Moretti, both were nice drinks. Onto the food. I ordered the Steak and Ale Pie, and the Mrs had Fish and Chips. It's the best steak and ale pie I have ever had and the fish was fresh, white and flaky. With real chips alongside both meals, I can't fault one thing. Overall, lovely little pub, lovely staff and lovely food. The other half said she wants to come here for dinner every day, now that's a first.

Probably the best beer this year.
This is a proper local pub with proper beer with good conversation a warm a welcome for old and new customers, no loud music nice cosy fires on a cold night. Having spent a week on holiday in the forest of Bowland I was beginning to despair there are lots of 'pubs' doing food but I have a dog, who luckily for me, loves pubs and it seems around here the two are not compatible.

Good Views, Friendly Staff & Place
Stopped in one of their ground floor rooms, WiFi was good which was needed & the view from the room was lovely. Anthony & All the Staff were helpful and a made my stay more than comfortable. The Breakfast was (for me) spot on every morning and a great way to start the day with a smile from the Staff

Fabulous overnight stay.
Beautiful location, easy & fast check in. Friendly and helpful staff. We used the spa facilities and enjoyed an evening meal and full English breakfast the next morning. Definitely going to return and enjoy the beautiful countryside around Skipton and The Dales.

Pub that sells good beer.
I visit the New Inn regularly, this is your traditional "boozer" and like marmite you will either love it or hate it. It consists of 4 rooms plus a bar area, a large rear beer garden "yard" and a smaller drinks area at the front. The main selling point is the choice of well kept beers (usually about 8 cask bitters) at reasonable prices. It doesn't do food other than crisps and there is no background music or slot machines - you have to make your own conversation which most people seem to manage.

A friendly welcome!
Great menu choice, freshly cooked and good sized portions, good value for money and service with a smile from the pleasant young lady behind the bar. What more could you ask for.

A lovely stay
Just back from a one night stay in this Pub with rooms and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed in The Barn conversion just up the road which was spacious, cosy and well appointed. Dinner was very good, as was the service. Breakfast was top quality and the lunch we had after a long walk up Malham Cove was also very good. Just a couple of words of advice. This venue is very dog friendly.

Great food, decent karaoke
In the day you can get decent food at a great price - the Sunday lunches are particularly great. At night it turns in to a banging venue absolutely jam packed with fertile scrat bags. Saturday evening karaoke is not to be missed (although some of the singers are of variable quality) Drinks are reasonably priced as well - what’s not to like?

Amazing stay Cardiff hotel
I stayed here for a week for University and it was a breath of fresh air compared to my previous hotel. It is like a home away from home and I felt so comfortable travelling alone. There are lots of lovely touches like fresh milk available to take to your room in a cool flask, hot chocolate and filter coffee bags available in your room and a lovely cosy fire in the restaurant. The food was absolutely incredible too and the breakfast options were 10/10.
